Library Card Guidelines
We issue library cards, check materials out and in, place items on "hold", assist patrons in locating materials, give directions and provide general information about the library and its services.
If you live in Georgia you are eligible for a library card with no fee. Residents from out of state pay an annual fee of $25.00.

You will need to bring a picture ID, such as a driver's license or passport, including verification of your current address.
Patrons must always present their library card to check out materials. This is for the patron's protection -- to insure that items are not checked out on the wrong individual's record. Thank you for your help in presenting your card each time you visit the library.

We also provide,nonfiction, paperbacks, fiction, westerns, Christian fiction, science fiction, books in Spanish and large print books to check out. Equipment Available for Check-Out

    • Equipment (except in-house use) check-out is for length of time you will use it, maximum time 1 week (no renewal). Equipment may be reserved up to 6 months in advance.
    Overdue fines: Equipment $1.00 per day (Maximum $5.00 per item.)

    • Check-out limits: 10 Compact Discs, 10 Audio Books, 5 Books on Compact discs, 4DVDs, 10 Videos, 5 Musical Scores, 1 Sculpture.
    Materials (except DVDs and Videos) check-out for 2 weeks, with 2 renewals for 2 weeks each. DVDs and Videos check-out for 3 days, with 1 renewal for 3 more days. (Videos & DVDs used for educational purposes check-out for 1 week, with no renewal.)

    Overdue fines:
    Compact discs, Audio books, Books on Compact disc, Musical scores = $.10 per day (Maximum $5.00 per item).
    DVDs, Videos = $.50 per day (Maximum $5.00 per item.)
    Laminating is available Monday-Friday 9:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. and Saturday 12:00p.m. - 5:00p.m. Maximum width is 23". Cost $1.00 per 12" in length. Minimum charge $1.00.
