Interlibrary Loans

Through Interlibrary Loan, you can get books from all over the world. Books from other PINES libraries throughout Georgia may be placed on hold for any PINES cardholder at no fee. Books outside of the PINES system will be requested through OCLC.

There is a Interlibrary loan fee when requesting books through OCLC. The fee is based on postage and what it will cost to return books to the lending library. When requesting copies of articles from magazines or journals, please indicate whether you are willing to pay a $5, $10, $15 or $20 fee if a OCLC lending library requires it.
If you live out of the SHRL service area (Floyd and Polk Counties), please contact your local library for interlibrary loan services.
If you would like to request a title that is in the PINES catalog or a title that needs to be borrowed from a library outside of PINES and Georgia, click the “Submit Your Request” link to email a request for the item.
Before submitting a request first search the PINES Online Catalog.
