  • Why do I need a library card?
    • If you wish to checkout books, videos, and music; research family history; or access one of public computers you will need a library card.


  • How much does a library card cost?
    • If you are a resident of Georgia your card is free. If you live outside of Georgia there is a $25 annual fee.


  • How do I get a library card?
    • Provided you meet our guidelines stop by the Circulation desk and complete the registration form.


  • What if I lose my library card
    • Report lost or stolen cards to the Circulation department. Replacement cards are available.

  • Can I renew materials by phone or online?
    • To renew materials by phone call Circulation at 236-4601, Audio-Visual at 236-4602 or Childrens at 236-4608. To renew materials online visit the PINES website


  • Do I have to show you my card to checkout?
    • Yes. In order to insure materials are not checked out to the wrong card we ask that you present your card each time you visit.


  • I'm having trouble with PINES. What should I do?
    • We are not responsible for the PINES web site. If you are experiencing problems renewing materials or searching their catalog visit their Frequently Asked Questions section


  • What are the daily late fee is for books?
    • $0.10 per day, per book - maximum fee of $5.00 per book.
